| | | About Us | Mackay commenced manufacturing products for the defence industry in 1940 and is currently the major supplier of rubber components to both ASC (formerly Australian Submarine Corporation), Australian Defence Forces and also supplies several International defence customers.
Mackay produces armoured vehicle tracks, road wheels and ballistic track shrouds; anti-vibration/shock mounts for surface and sub-surface vessels; anechoic materials for sub-surface vessels; missile components and missile launch silo closures, and hand fabricated rubber products such as gas sealing membranes, escape trunks, hatch seals and noise attenuating water mufflers.
